Is Rusty's closing?
Rusty's is not closing. We are relocating to our new home, Rusty's Rooftop at 2331 Vanderbilt Beach Road #1102 34109 and will continue serving the food, drinks, and atmosphere you've come to know and love.
Why are you moving?
After 23 wonderful years in our current location, we were unable to reach a lease renewal agreement that made financial sense for the long-term future of the business. Rather than compromise the quality of the Rusty's experience, we chose to invest in our future and move forward with Rusty's Rooftop.
When is the move happening?
We will remain open in our current location through January 2027. We'll close one day here and open there the next.
Where is the new location?
Rusty's Rooftop will be located at Vanderbilt Shops, less than two miles from our current location. (4 minutes)
Will the menu change?
All of your Rusty's favorites will be coming with us. While we may add a few new items in the future, the dishes, Specials, and laid-back atmosphere aren't going anywhere.
Will my favorite bartenders still be there?
ABSOLUTELY!
Our team is one of the biggest reasons we are doing this. Rusty's has been successful for over 23 years, and we want to bring our staff with us into the next chapter.
Is Rusty's Rooftop a completely different concept?
No.
Rusty's Rooftop is the next evolution of Rusty's.

We're currently exploring ways to preserve and celebrate the memories from our current location however, most of it's coming with us.
Will smoking be allowed at Rusty’s Rooftop?
Yes—but only in designated smoking areas.
While smoking will not be permitted in the main dining and patio areas, Rusty’s Rooftop will have designated smoking areas both on the rooftop and downstairs for guests who wish to smoke.
Our goal is to create a comfortable experience for everyone. As customer preferences have changed over the years, more and more guests are looking for smoke-free dining areas, while we also recognize that many of our longtime customers enjoy having a cigarette with a drink.
We believe this approach offers the best of both worlds—comfortable smoke-free dining spaces while still accommodating our smoking guests.

Are gift cards and Loyalty points going to work at the rooftop?
YES! All gift cards, promotions, and loyalty programs will transfer to the Rooftop
Can I book events or parties at the new location?
That's something we've never been able to do in our current location. We are excited to be able to offer this to our community.
Will Rusty's Rooftop be family friendly?
Absolutely.
Rusty's has always been a place where families, locals, visitors, sports fans, and friends can come together, and that won't change. Rusty's Rooftop is being designed to maintain the laid-back, welcoming atmosphere that has made Rusty's a Naples favorite for more than 23 years.

After 23 amazing years in our current home, we have some exciting news to share.
Rusty's is moving!
While we would have loved to remain where we are forever, the reality is that the economics of renewing our lease simply no longer made sense for the long-term future of the business. Like many local businesses, we've been faced with rising occupancy costs, and after a great deal of consideration, we made the decision to invest in our future rather than stand still.
One thing we've seen recently is just how powerful this community can be when it rallies behind a local business. Many of you watched the incredible support our friends at CiCi's Pizza received when they faced a similar challenge. It was a reminder that Naples still believes in supporting the local places that become part of people's lives.
The good news? We're not going far.
In early 2027, Rusty's will be moving just a couple of miles away to our exciting new home:

The same great food. The same cold drinks. The same familiar faces. The same laid-back local atmosphere you've supported for more than two decades. Until then, it's business as usual.
We will remain open through January 2027, and we're planning to make every day count. Over the next several months, we'll be celebrating the memories, friendships, and traditions that have made Rusty's what it is today. We hope you'll join us.
